Self-Confidence Worksheet

Use this quick self-confidence worksheet to rate your own self-confidence.

Read each of the following statements and rate yourself “A” if it is true for you most of the time, “B” if it is true some of the time, and “C” if it is not usually true.

I have a good sense of my strengths and weaknesses.

I am willing to take risks for something I believe in.

I plan and prepare for new experiences.

I have ways to cope with fear and doubt.

I take time to remember past successes.

I recognize failure as part of life.

I can cope with unexpected changes.

I am comfortable asking for help.

I know what I value in life.

My actions usually line up with my values.

I don’t give up easily.

I realize that not everyone will agree with me.

I have a sense of my inherent worth.

I understand that setbacks are to be expected.

I don’t beat myself up when I’m having a rough time.

My thoughts don’t paralyze me when trying something new.

If you gave yourself:

Mostly “A”s – You are doing a great job of not letting obstacles stop you from attaining your goals.

Mostly “B”s – You may be falling prey to common pitfalls that limit self-confidence. Sometimes you focus too much on falling short of your goals.

Mostly “C”s – Your self-confidence is shaky. Remember, nobody is totally self-confident all the time. There are ways to ease up on yourself and find ways to handle setbacks.
